Do You Pull Cable or Do On-Site Installs?
No. We are design and remote-configuration consultants. We produce the blueprint, the bill of materials, and pre-stage hardware. Physical cable pulling, drilling and mounting is done by your licensed electrician (C-10 in California, or your state equivalent) or by you for DIY. We coordinate with them over video.
Why Ubiquiti UniFi Over Eero / Nest / Orbi Mesh?
Consumer mesh repeats Wi-Fi wirelessly - each hop can halve throughput. Ubiquiti UniFi uses wired PoE access points with wired backhaul to a central switch: full multi-gigabit speed, proper VLAN segmentation, local Protect camera storage, and no monthly fees. We will still tell you when your current mesh is fine.

Will You Work With My Electrician or GC?
Yes - that is the primary model. We act as your low-voltage sub-contractor: numbered drop sheets, patch-panel maps, conduit notes, PoE budgets. Your electrician only pulls and terminates. We handle router, VLAN, VPN and camera config remotely and stay on video for questions.
Do Your Camera Systems Record 24/7 Without Subscriptions?
Yes. Ubiquiti UniFi Protect with a local NVR / CloudKey+ records continuously to your own drives - no per-camera cloud fees. AI detection (person, vehicle, package) runs locally. We size retention (for example 14-30 days) and PoE power so nothing drops.
Can I Access Home Remotely and Block Ads Network-Wide?
Yes - two separate pieces we often combine. Tailscale (Tailnet) gives you secure access to NAS, cameras and desktops without open ports or a static IP. Pi-hole / NextDNS at the router blocks ads, trackers and IoT telemetry for every device, with per-VLAN policies so streaming does not break.
Do I Buy Hardware From You? Can I Use My Own?
Your choice. Bring your own gear and we will configure it, or we will source, pre-stage, label and ship a Ubiquiti UniFi rack-in-a-box. Either way the BOM lists honest alternates at different budgets - no lock-in to a single vendor. Flexible pricing applies either way.
Can You Set Up Multiple ISPs for Redundancy and 100 Percent Uptime?
Yes. We design dual-WAN on Ubiquiti UniFi gateways with automatic failover - for example cable primary plus 5G or fiber backup - plus policy routing so work calls stay on the best link. Combined with local NVR and Tailscale, your cameras and remote access keep working even when one ISP drops. We size it for true 100 percent uptime on the LAN side.
Do You Only Work With Ubiquiti UniFi? What About ASUS, TP-Link, Netgear, Reolink?
We are UniFi-first, not UniFi-only. Ubiquiti UniFi (plus TP-Link Omada for budget commercial jobs) is our core platform for new designs because of wired backhaul, VLANs and local Protect recording. But we happily configure, fix and integrate what you already own: ASUS AiMesh, Netgear Nighthawk and Orbi, Aruba Instant On, MikroTik, Grandstream, Eero, Google Nest Wifi, Linksys Velop, Reolink and Amcrest cameras, Synology, QNAP, TrueNAS and Asustor storage, Ring, Blink, Wyze and Arlo devices. We will tell you honestly what is worth keeping, what to isolate on its own VLAN, and what to replace - no rip-and-replace pressure.
